孙赞东,男,汉族,1961年生,湖北黄冈人。博士,中国石油大学特聘教授,博士生导师。中国石油东方地球物理公司高级技术顾问,原ExxonMobil高级研究专家。现任中国石油大学(北京)地质地球物理综合研究中心主任。

1984 年毕业于江汉石油学院获地质学学士,分配到原石油部勘探开发研究院从事开发地质研究,1987 年考入华东石油学院北京研究生部地质地球物理综合研究生班,攻读地质硕士。1989 年留学加拿大卡尔加里大学,1993 年获地球物理学硕士,1999 年获地球物理学博士。至今为止,已有近30 年从事国内外知名大石油公司(19841987年原中国石油工业部石油勘探开发科学研究院,19931994 Schlumberger19942006 ExxonMobil (19942002 ESSO Canada20022006 ExxonMobil USA)在全球范围内的石油勘探、开发与生产以及技术研发工作。由于在加拿大勘探与生产研究中的显著效果和突出贡献,2000 年被ESSO 加拿大公司总裁授予有突出贡献科学家。20052006 年度被录入美国企业管理家与职业人员名人录(注册于美国国会图书馆)

孙赞东教授是国际上岩石物理、储层预测、各向异性和多波多分量等方面的知名学者和公认的碳酸盐岩储层预测及开发地震专家。地质、地球物理、油藏工程三结合,采集、处理和解释一体化是其特长,尤其在复杂碳酸盐岩储层研究方面掌握和研发了大量国际先进技术,并具有丰富的实践经验。作为主要科学家自1996年以来负责长达6年的加拿大西部油砂开采的开发地震研究,给加拿大冷湖油田储层预测改善和提高采收率做出了巨大贡献,整体油砂采收率提高了25%(由原来采收率的25%提升至50%),大大提高了冷湖油砂开采的经济效益和日产量,并且其研发的时移地震技术方法已经在ExxonMobil 全球范围内推广,他的突出贡献得到了加拿大石油勘探地球物理界的推崇,并成为业界的领导者。后来又在ExxonMobil 总部参加过马来西亚Guntong 油田、挪威北海油田开发地震研究,2005 年公司专门指派他负责西非深水浊积岩储层开发地震的采集、处理和解释一体化研究(该项目被誉为ExxonMobil 经济效益最好的);2003年,他被抽调至ExxonMobil(中东)碳酸盐岩储层综合预测特别研究项目部,负责完成碳酸盐岩孔隙类型识别的地球物理检测方法、离散裂缝系统模型的地震模拟、裂缝预测方法及各向异性研究,在工业界“首次”研发了一个对裂缝介质系统参数进行离散网络正演和反演、模拟和估算的重要工具,该工具的重要意义在于它能帮助我们将地震反演所得到的裂缝参数与地质模型进行综合,能有效的检测裂缝模型的有效性,为ExxonMobil率先启动中东地区碳酸盐岩中地震检测渗透率方法的研究和ExxonMobil在中东地区赢得了很多机会。从具体技术细节方面举例言,他发展了多波联合AVO反演技术;改进了主分量提取方法;发展完善了综合叠前方位各向异性三维AVO反演技术;建立了完整的弹性波阻抗反演流程,改善了这项技术在油藏动态描述表征中的效果;发展了裂缝预测和应力异常带识别技术等。

在国外20年中,孙赞东教授一直想着国家,关心国家重大科技问题。响应科教兴国号召,在原石油工业部王涛老部长和中国石油大学张一伟老校长的鼓励下,依然回国,以中国石油大学(北京)地质地球物理综合研究中心为依托,踏实勤奋,专心研究,在其带动下已取得较多科研成果。尤其是面对我国西部复杂碳酸盐岩储层预测这一世界级难题,开展了以岩石物理、叠前保幅偏移处理、叠前AVO弹性反演、有限方位角条件下方位各向异裂缝探测、绕射波场分离与成像技术和储层综合解释等为核心的技术攻关,在油田现场得到的广泛应用。

孙赞东教授目前为SEG(国际勘探地球物理家协会)CSEG(加拿大勘探地球物理家协会)AAPG(美国地质家协会)的积极会员,APEGGA(加拿大阿尔伯大省职业地质,地球物理家及工程师协会)会员,中国石油协会地球物理专业委员会会员,SEG全球事务理事会理事和研究委员会委员,曾历任SEGCSEG年会分会主席及CSEG杂志审编。被国际SEG推选为2011SEG D&P(开发与生产)高峰论坛主席。
